Three Settings, One Wedding-Day Plan
Rancho Las Lomas is in Silverado, California, in Orange County. The property has three event spaces, and 24 Carrots Catering & Events exclusively manages and services it. Confirm which spaces your booking includes before planning a ceremony in one and dinner in another.
El Teatro puts vows beneath oak and sycamore trees, La Terraza offers a staircase set in greenery, and the Grand Salon brings dinner and dancing indoors. Each space has its own listed capacity, so begin with your guest count and the route between the settings you hope to use.
Choose Among Three Event Spaces
Compare the published capacities with your guest list, then ask the venue which layouts and space combinations your booking permits.
El Teatro
This open-air theater sits beneath oak and sycamore trees, with a marble stage and bistro lighting. Its listed capacity is 375. Ask when shade reaches the ceremony area and where cameras, microphones and equipment may be placed.
La Terraza
A wooden staircase, greenery, cobblestone and white-washed stucco define this terrace; its listed capacity is 375. Ask how the ceremony layout works for your list and whether the staircase is available for portraits.
The Grand Salon
This indoor hall has stained-glass windows, French doors and a stone fireplace, with a listed capacity of 220. It can be considered for dinner and dancing if your booking includes it. The catering page lists a midnight end time for indoor receptions; confirm the rule for your date.
Preparation
Casa Bonita and Casa Abuela are on-site preparation suites. Ask whether either is included, when the crew may arrive and where equipment can be unloaded before assigning preparation coverage.
Ceremony
Use the space named in your booking. Confirm the ceremony hour, where shade falls, how vows are amplified and which camera positions the venue allows.
Family portraits
Write the family group combinations in advance. Ask which approved area fits the largest group and how much time the schedule allows before dinner; bridge access is a separate question.

A bridge crosses Aliso Creek toward historic structures and Spanish-style casitas, but portrait access and creek access have not been confirmed. Ask the venue which portrait areas are permitted, whether the bridge may be part of the route and where the crew may work while guests pass.
Match Portraits to Light and Guest Flow
Visit El Teatro and La Terraza at the hour you would use them. Note when trees shade the marble stage, how light falls on the staircase and stucco, and where a portrait group of your size could stand in an approved area.
The Grand Salon offers stained glass and French doors indoors, but its lighting and the booked layout still need a walk-through. If bridge portraits are permitted, confirm the route and allow time to return to your booked space while guests move between settings.
